The Cat in the Hat

In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, we celebrated by reading his books and participating in play activities centered around our favorites.

"Should we tell her about it? 
Now, what SHOULD we do? 
Well...
What would you do
If your mother asked YOU?"

“Oh, Mom! A Cat in the Hat comed.
He made a big mess in our house.
Him cleaned it up!”

"Oh, Mom! There was this Cat in the Hat. It made a great big mess and he picked it up.”

“The Cat in the Hat came to my house.
He made a big mess and then he cleaned it up.”

“Um, Mom, there was this Cat in the Hat here and
he made a big mess, but he cleaned it up...”

We decorated our own hats with glue sticks and shapes galore!
