Who's That Knocking on Christmas Eve?

Image result for who's that knocking on christmas eve
We stayed in the arctic long enough to create  beautiful northern lights like in our book, Who's That Knocking on Christmas Eve?  We made northern lights with flashlights covered with colored cellophane.
We shined the colors on the ceiling as we sang to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star":
Twinkle, twinkle northern lights.
Shining in the arctic night.
Up above the world so high.
Awesome colors in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle northern lights.
Shining in the arctic night.
For lunch, we had sausages and porridge just like the meal Kyri and her father shared with the boy from Finmark and his ice bear, for their Christmas Eve celebration. We "dressed up" our porridge with blueberries, bananas, brown sugar and honey. We kept our fingers crossed that the ornery trolls
wouldn't come and eat all of our food! We kept listening for the loud knockity, knock, knockity, knock on the door!
