Stranger in the Woods

There was a "stranger in the woods" and all the animals were talking about it. Who can it be? The brother and sister in the awesomely illustrated book, Stranger in the Woods, 

had built a snowman (the stranger) and were feeding all of the animals in the woods by placing different foods on and around the snowman. 

We're going to feed the animals in the neighborhood around our school some Christmas treats. We made pine-cone bird feeders by spreading peanut butter on pine-cones and rolling them in birdseed.

We also strung some cheerios to hang on the trees.

We can't wait to see who will come and enjoy the treats! Birds for sure. Squirrels too. And rabbits. Maybe skunks and raccoons. Any chance we'll attract some deer?
