All About Me

This week was all about ME...
We started out reading and talking about our hands and fingers...
"Where is Thumbkin" is a favorite song of ours...
We printed our hands with the color of our choice and then added shaving cream for some finger painting!
Feet were next!

Oh how many feet we meet!
We read the book, I Like Me by Nancy Carlson.
We talked about our special characteristics- the color of our eyes, our hair, the shape of our nose and mouth. We sang the song, "I Am Special".
Then we looked in a mirror to see...
While we were looking, we counted our teeth!
Practice makes perfect so we brushed pretend teeth...
We read The Way I Feel and talked about different feelings and what makes those feelings surface.
Can you guess how we feel?
We read about what's on the inside of our bodies...
and then using black shapes and white paint, we added bones to a body shape.
We used our body parts to do the "Hokey Pokey"!
That's what it's all about!
