Fall Scavenger Hunt September 23

The first official day of Fall proved to be a perfect day. We walked along Bear Creek Trail and looked for signs of Fall. The leaves were just barely starting to turn. Seed pods lying under trees were torn apart by squirrels or other small creatures.
The water was calm; we threw sticks and stones and watched tiny creatures skitter on the surface.
Swinging, climbing on the playground structures and just hanging out and enjoying the beautiful Fall weather, were our next orders of business.
The discovery of an awesome climbing tree created an imaginary scenario of castles and dragon slaying.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for many more gorgeous days of Fall just like this one!
