The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe;
She had so many children she didn't know what to do.
She gave them some broth without any bread;
She kissed them all soundly and sent them to bed.
The old mother rabbit in our book had 26 kids and each of their names started with a letter from the alphabet and rhymed with the place where they slept- Abel slept on the table. Rae slept in the hay...
We tried to rhyme each of our names with a place where we could sleep- it wasn't easy.

We also used shoe shapes to make our own little shoe houses. Some of us added windows, doors and other decorations to our "houses". We also added  little people shapes for children.
