They had a pizza party in The Lady with the Alligator Purse. Our pizza party lasted all week!
Practice makes perfect. We had plenty of practice making pizza in our pretend restaurant.
A fun song to sing about pizza had us all spelling...
(Tune: BINGO)
There is a treat that's good to eat
and pizza is its name, oh!
P-I-Z-Z-A, P-I-Z-Z-A. P-I-Z-Z-A
And pizza is its name, oh!
When art meets pizza amazing creativity and language happen...
One day, we made fruit pizzas to go along with our scrambled eggs for lunch!
It was fun making pizzas on the parachute. We each picked our favorite as we stirred up the dough and added the ingredients.
Making a pizza is really an art- edible art! We had so much fun creating our real pizzas. Unlike in our book, Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza,
we did not rely on someone to make our pizzas for us. We each made our own. First, we rolled and patted out the dough to place in our pans. Next, we spooned and spread on the sauce. Adding toppings was loads of fun. We got to choose from all kinds of meats and veggies. And of course, cheese!
Such amazing creations. And now for the best part...eating them!
YUM!
