After reading The Knight and the Dragon,
we designed shields with things that represented us- a picture, handprint, favorite foods, movies, colors, etc.
We recited "Old King Cole" and made our own jeweled crowns.
Goin' on a Dragon Hunt is always a favorite activity...
Catapulting marshmallows towards a cardboard castle was a favorite activity as well.
"The queen of hearts, she made some tarts"...
Using biscuit dough and strawberry jam, we made our own strawberry tarts.
They were amazing! We were happy the Jack of Hearts didn't steal ours!
It was fun designing castles of our own using our new magna tiles.
