Batik Giraffes

Step One: We glued on a giraffe shape and then dribbled and painted gel glue on the places we didn't want paint. We set them aside to dry.
Step Two:
The fun part, but a bit hard in that we had to paint the entire piece of fabric using acrylic paints. We needed a lot of encouragement to complete this part. 
Then we had to let them dry again.
Behind the scenes, the fabric was washed in hot water, washing off the giraffe and gel glue, leaving the giraffe shape among a colorful background.
